Kara Lyness is a licensed Georgia REALTOR®, visionary founder, and lead listing agent of The Blue Grace Group—one of Atlanta’s top-producing real estate teams. Born and raised in Atlanta, Kara’s deep-rooted connection to the city runs far beyond the skyline. She grew up on the ice, competing at Nationals for the U.S. Figure Skating Association by age thirteen and achieving professional status by sixteen after earning double gold medals. The same precision, artistry, and perseverance that once defined her as a skater now shape her career in real estate and design.

Kara graduated with honors from the American Intercontinental University in London, England, earning a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing and a spot on the Dean’s List. After returning home, she spent over a decade alongside her mother and sister in the family’s interior design business—immersing herself in the language of color, texture, and space. In 2014, she redirected that creative foundation toward real estate, launching The Blue Grace Group, named after her two daughters, as a heartfelt expression of legacy and purpose.

With over 25 years immersed in design and renovation, Kara brings a uniquely aesthetic sensibility to real estate. Her clients value her vision, access to high-end resources, and hands-on approach—offering design consultation, sourcing finishes, managing renovations, and preparing listings to achieve record sales in record time. A sharp negotiator with an eye for beauty and detail, Kara blends artistry with strategy, ensuring her clients’ homes shine at their highest potential.

Her success came swiftly. In her first year, she was named Rookie of the Year, closing 53 transactions and $5.3 million in sales. By year two, she doubled her production to over $10 million, earning the title of Atlanta’s Who’s Who “Rising Star” of 2016. The following year, her two-person team closed $20 million in sales, ranking among the Top 3 Teams at Keller Williams Intown Atlanta. In 2018, Kara expanded her vision, founding Staging Grace, a home-staging brand designed to elevate listings through curated presentation.

In 2019, Kara and her mother, Rosemary Ullom, unveiled their next chapter—a stunning urban Design Center, merging the worlds of real estate and interior design under one inspired roof. Today, The Blue Grace Group stands as a symbol of creative excellence and client dedication. Serving the Greater Metro Atlanta area, Kara and her team guide clients through every facet of buying, selling, or redesigning their homes—with integrity, insight, and a touch of grace.
