Kara Lyness is a licensed GA. REALTOR, founder of The Blue Grace Group & top producing real estate team.   Kara is native to Atlanta and knows the metro area extremely well. She grew up ice skating, competing at Nationals for the United States Figure Skating Association by age 13 and passed her double gold test achieving a professional stature at 16. After high school, she went on to achieve a degree in fashion design and marketing, graduating from the American Intercontinental University in London England, on the Dean's List, at the top of her class. After college she returned home and worked 12 years alongside her mother and sister in the family’s interior design business, later becoming an Intown Realtor in January 2014.  Kara is the lead listing agent and founder of The Blue Grace Group, named after her two daughters. She adds value through her design background, vision, and access to wholesale, high-end resources she's accumulated over the last 25 years through her mom's interior design business.  Kara is hands on from start to finish, offering design consultation, sourcing interior & exterior finishes, managing rehabs, and prepping sellers to attain the highest sales prices with the shortest days on market. She is an expert negotiator, very spirited, and extremely hard working. She loves to please people and is very detail oriented, which reflects in her work ethic and the results she produces for her clients. She is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club and Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.

Her first year in real estate, Kara was awarded Rookie of the Year, doing 53 transactions and closing 5.3 million dollars in sales. She doubled her production to over 10 million in her second year and was featured as Atlanta's Who's Who “Rising Star” of 2016. In 2017, her team consisted of one other agent, and together they closed 20 million in sales volume, placing The Blue Grace Group in the top 3 teams at Keller Williams Intown Atlanta. In 2018, the Blue Grace Group switched brokerages, moving from Keller Williams to PalmerHouse. At the end of 2018, as lead listing agent, motivated by her love for design and to best aid in selling her listings for top market value, Kara decided to add home staging to her repertoire and conceptualized 'Staging Grace', while simultaneously manifesting an even more grandiose vision for the future of her family's businesses.  At the end of 2019, Kara and her mother Rosemary built a beautifully inspired, state of the art, urban design center coupled with Blue Grace Group's real estate firm.
